Richard and i met on Dating Direct in May 2007. Initially i was unsure about him as we didn't seem to be that compatible - i actually thought he was quite boring! Any way we met up for a first date and lets just say it didn't go all that well, i thought he was uptight and he thought i was really annoying. However, after a few glasses of wine, just at the point when he was about to make an exit - i launched myself on him. One kiss turned into another date, then another and exactly one year to the day we met at Moor Street Station, he asked me to marry him and i said yes. 8 and a half months later we got married, and what a fabulous day it was. Our families were delighted, despite my initial worries that people would be sceptical about falling in love with someone you met on the internet. I can't thank dating direct enough. I found the perfect man, and i have learned not to judge people until you get to know them.
